Professional Certification Description
The Certified Professional by the American Heart Association – Telehealth Stroke (CPAHA) is available to health care professionals committed to helping their patients live longer, healthier lives.
Upon completion and attestation to meeting the education requirements, professionals will be eligible to sit for the 175-question (150 scored questions, 25 unscored questions), live remotely proctored certification exam. You will have 3 hours to complete the exam. The certification exam will be delivered by Meazure Learning. After you complete the required prerequisites and purchase the product, you will receive an email from Meazure Learning to schedule your exam within 3 business days. Upon passing the exam, the American Heart Association will award the professional with CPAHA certification and credentials for individual recognition in accordance with provided branding guidelines.
To retain the certification past the three-year award period, the individual must complete certification maintenance criteria with continuing education credits and fees. If the certification is not maintained, it is no longer active for professional use and display.
